Hard Ferrite Magnet

Hard ferrite magnet is a kind of permanent magnet, which is composed of iron oxide, barium and strontium elements. It is the most commonly used permanent magnet material due to its low cost, easy to produce, excellent corrosion and demagnetization resistance properties.

Hard ferrite magnet can be divided into anisotropic type and isotropic type. Anisotropic hard ferrite magnet must be magnetized in the direction of pressing, while isotropic one can be magnetized in any direction.

Though hard ferrite magnet owns excellent corrosion and demagnetization resistance properties, it is hard and brittle which means special machining techniques and tools must be utilized for its production.

Applications
Hard ferrite magnet is quite popular in electrical engineering, electronic information, car industry, motorcycle industries, medical treatment, mining and metallurgy, industrial automation, oil energy and civil industries.
